Meet in a public place
For a first meeting, pick a café, restaurant or other public place, and tell a friend where you are going. Keep the conversation on clikyou until you are comfortable.
Safety
A verified badge means a person on our team matched a selfie to the profile photo. It does not mean we guarantee who someone is offline, or that a date will be safe. Use the same care you would meeting anyone new.
For a first meeting, pick a café, restaurant or other public place, and tell a friend where you are going. Keep the conversation on clikyou until you are comfortable.
Do not send money, gift cards or bank details, and do not share your password. A member who asks for any of those is not using clikyou as intended. Stop the conversation and block them.
The badge means the selfie matched the profile photo at the time of review. People can still misrepresent their intentions. Read the profile, and trust what happens in the conversation more than the badge.
From a chat you can block a member, which stops them contacting you. If something feels wrong, use the contact form in the footer and include the profile name. We review reports from the team.
